ALIS CALA AWARDS
ALIS CALA honors the executives and companies responsible for the most influential hotel industry deals with the prestigious ALIS CALA Deal of the Year Awards. The winners will be announced during the conference. Nominees for the awards will be evaluated based on outstanding business performance in various industry sectors. Nominations are due by Friday, March 6, 2026.
Development of the Year Award
The Development of the Year Award recognizes a newly built, redeveloped, or repositioned (after significant product renovations and/or enhancements) hotel that opened, reopened, or completed their repositioning in the Caribbean or Latin American regions between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2025. Development nominations are reviewed according to specific ranking criteria by the ALIS CALA Development of the Year Award Committee to determine the three finalists. The finalists’ information is then reviewed and voted on by delegates of ALIS CALA to determine the winner, whom will be announced at ALIS CALA.
Nominations are due by Friday, March 6, 2026.
Transaction of the Year Award
The Transaction of the Year Award recognizes hotel(s) and/or resort(s) in which more than a 50 percent ownership stake has been acquired (transaction closed) in the Caribbean or Latin American regions between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2025. Transaction nominations are reviewed according to specific ranking criteria by the Transaction of the Year Award Committee to determine the three finalists. The finalists’ information is then reviewed and voted on by delegates of ALIS CALA to determine the winner, whom will be announced at ALIS CALA.
Nominations are due by Friday, March 6, 2026.

Rising Star Award CALA
The Rising Star Award CALA is co-hosted by the International Society of Hospitality Consultants (ISHC) and The BHN Group by Northstar. The award will be presented to the winner at the ALIS CALA conference at the Loews Coral Gables Hotel, Coral Gables, FL.
This award identifies and recognizes emerging talent and future leadership in the Caribbean/Latin America sectors. The screening committee will evaluate nominees based on completion of the nomination form, and with regards to - Achievement, Impact, and Recommendation.
Nomination forms are due on or before midnight Eastern Time on February 27, 2026 for consideration.
